Cute Puppies!!

We just spent about a week in Logandale with my parents. While we were there Emery played with their adorable puppies almost the WHOLE time. My mom is also starting to sell them, so I thought I would put a little shout out for her. If you or anyone you know wants a new puppy you can check them on her website and give her a call. If not you can just look at the cute pictures of them. We sure had a blast playing with them. I grew up with a miniature schnauzer as our family pet and they are great because they are very loving and they do not shed, so many people who are allergic to dogs can own these, plus it makes for a great indoor pet. My sister Jodi is also selling some very cute puppies right now.

Whirlwind

Where to begin? I feel like my life has been a whirl wind these last few weeks! At this point I feel like I am having an outer body experience. I am sitting here as I watch things go by, people making things happen, watching myself make things happen and everything is just getting taken care of. I am sure all this medication I am on is not helping this illusion. I feel very humbled for all the help and support from family members and friends! We are VERY blessed! Here are all the happenings in these last few weeks, with very few pictures. I am sad to say that my camera was destroyed by a leaky sippy cup of milk. I guess it is not a surprise with the craziness of our life right now. :) Just one of the casualties of this "experience". :) I guess this whirlwind mostly began when Kaven arrived. Not long after was Tim's graduation. Then Mastitis, the start of my medications. Within the week, we decided to move in with Tim's parents for the summer. So we had to fit in all the doctors appointments for me and the kids before we left. The mastitis didn't clear, so more medication, but I got new glasses, clean teeth, and healthy children! My brand new baby doesn't seem so brand new with all these things going on. Here is a picture I took while we were moving. My dear friend Robyn in on the far right (Notice she is holding my baby to help). They (her and Kevin) helped us load everything into the trailer (with the Elders Quarum) and then then next day spent most the day cleaning my house. There is NO WAY we would have been done in time with everything if it wasn't for them. Thanks so much to them and our other dear friends in Cedar City. It has not been NOT easy moving away from you all.
:)We had about a day in Delta to somewhat unload some of our things before we left up North to see my mom's side of the family one day and then Traces baby blessing the next. While we were up there we were able to look around for housing in Salt Lake a little bit. If you know of any great places around the University of Utah, let us know. We made it back to Delta exhausted but safely to meet our next challenge of getting my tonsils taken out. The surgery went very well. I actually didn't bleed through it. My doctor said that has only happened one other time for him about twelve years ago. Weird! So now I am all doped up with all kinds of medications. Tim's parents have been so great through it all. I feel so welcome and taken care of in their home. Emery has loved following her grandma around EVERYWHERE and getting motorcycle rides from grandpa. But needless to say that is not the end of my story. We are now in Logandale with my family. Tim is working for my dad for a little bit to make some extra money while I "float" around (mentally) at my parents house, while my mom takes care of my children and I, while I recover from my surgery. We even spent a night and day in Mesquite so my sister Cami could take a turn taking care of me. Boy am I ever a handful. Thanks Cami, it was so fun to see you and be with you even though I couldn't talk to you very well. For now we are doing great in Logandale with family. Emery has LOVED the puppies here and spending time with Grandma, Grandpa, Erin, Leslie and cousins. Don't look to close at her hair, it has been another casualty in this whirlwind. I haven't stayed on top of it all the time. Though our life has been a whirlwind I figure all whirlwinds have a center point and everything eventually meets that point. If it wasn't for all of these wonderful people (family and friends) helping us along the way, our life would most likely be a blizzard blowing every which way with no result. One of these days we are going to reach that point in our whirlwind but for now you can stay tuned for our many adventures in the tunnels of wind. :)

Graduation: We are Half Way There!!!!

On May 2nd my sweet hubby graduated with his Bachelors Degree. Way to go Tim! We were even lucky enough to hear President Monson speak. I have never seen the Centrum so full before! I did not get a picture of everyone I wanted but I tried to get pictures with people that made the greatest impact during his time at SUU. Of course his parents, so sweet, supportive, and more. I didn't get a picture with my parents but I feel the same about them. They have always taught me how important education is and have been great motivators to the both of us.
This is Tim's favorite professor. He did research for her (femoral bypass modeling and diabetic vein study on rats) for many of the years at SUU. We also feel that it is because of her classes, that he did so well on the PCAT and helped him realize his potential. I give a BIG thanks to her. The two ceremonies were great and Kaven did pretty good for his first outing of his life. Don't you love how Emery has her sippy cup in her face in these pictures. That's my girl, she LOVES her sippies, and you can not take them away from her once she has them! I didn't get to walk when I graduated from SUU because I just delivered Emery, so I kind of felt like he was representing the both of us. What a neat experience.
After the ceremonies the rest of Tim's family came up and we went to dinner together. It was fun to get our two girls and baby boys together. It was funny because when they walked in the door and took Trace out of his car seat Emery saw him, got all excited, and said, "TWO KAVENS!" We all got a laugh out of that. At least we know she loves her brother and would be excited to have two of him! :) Tim's brother Brett also graduated this year. It is crazy how we end up doing everything the same at the same time. Married within the same year, baby girls at the same time, baby boys at the same time, and to top it off we even live in the same floor plan house, in differnt towns at least ;). Now they graduated at the same time and going on into medical fields at the SAME TIME!!! Brett to DO (Medical) school and Tim to Pharmacy school. To be honest sometimes it is a little hard to do everything the same but it defiantly has it's great benefits as well. Good job guys, we are all so proud of you both.

Catch Up Time

Geeze with having a new baby I have not really been able to get on the computer for blogging as much as I usually do. Sooo... here are a few pictures of things that have been going on. A very random post. We have been playing with and holding Kaven A LOT! Isn't my little family so cute. I loved this picture! Being a wife and a mother is a lot of work but WAY worth it. I just love these three to death! Emery and Kaven laying on Emery's bed. Emery is doing so great with him now. She is very soft and sweet with him. And we finally decided that we are going to move to Delta for the summer before we move on to Salt Lake City in the fall. Emery thinks it has been a blast climbing in all the boxes, coloring on them and emptying them after they have been loaded. We have been learning to tape them up fast, right after we fill them! :) We have been packing, getting rid of stuff, cleaning and more getting rid of stuff. My parents have been so great to help bring their truck and trailer for us to haul loads off and move us when it is time. We actually went to my parents house for a few days and while we were their someone bought our white car HOOOORAY!!!!!!!!!! We have been wanting to sell it for a LONG time. My parents once again are the greatest and helped up out with that. What great timing that we happened to be there when it all happened. We feel very blessed right now. This is not an actual picture of our old car but it is what it looked like. It was a great car but it is nice to have it sold, especially when we only need one car.
