I'm One!!!!!

Emery just turned one!!! Can you tell she is happy about that in the picture? :) We had a fantastic day. Tim and I blew up a whole bunch of balloons the night before her birthday, so she would wake up to a room full of them. She LOVED it. She ran in the room and kept saying, "ball, ball, ball." That eventually turned into, "Weeeee" and she ran through them. When she was tired out with the balloons she opened her presents from Tim and I. She got a baby and a baby stroller, car seat, high chair bouncer .... set. It was fun once again to watch her with her baby. My favorite is when she gives her baby a binkie and makes sucking noises. SOOOO CUTE!!! Then that evening we had her birthday party and invited our friends. We had macaroni and peas (Emery's all time favorite) for dinner. And had cake and ice-cream for dessert. Tim made the adorable Turtle cake, he is so talented. Then she opened some presents from friends. We had a great day and are excited that Emery is now one. My how the time flies!

To Grandmas House We Go

I had a few days off from babysitting so we decided to make a vacation out of it. After spending the night in Mesquite at my sisters house we went to Grandma and Grandpas house. It was just what I needed. Sometimes it is great to just get a break from every
thing and leave. What better way than to see family!!! I even got to stay a few extra days after Tim came back home for school. My mom brought me home later. Thanks so much mom! We had a great time and Emery LOVED every minute of it. She received a doll, duck and frog from Grandma and Grandpa as an early Birthday gift (pictured above). And we even had a pre-birthday cake that Emery got all over her face, thanks to Grandma, (so fun)! She loves her doll, I was amazed to see her carry it around, rock it, and even feed it a bottle, all on her own. She must she me do those things with Brigam or something because nobody told her or showed her how to do that. Or maybe it is just those maternal instincts. It is great being a mom and watching my child grow up. What a miracle.

Emery had all kinds of adventures while she was there too. She got to feed the goats and see a turtle for the first time. She was very intrigued and also very cautious. Not only that but Grandpa has some eggs that are growing some baby chicks inside. In the picture he is using his flashlight to see if the chicks are growing or not, pretty cool. He got these eggs from the fair so it will be fun to see what variation or chickens he will get and if they are even fert
ilized or not. It is always a fun adventure when we go to Grandma and Grandpas house.

Parks and Green Feilds ;)

This last weekend we went to Mesquite and Logandale to see family. Our first stop, the "Park" house. I thought my title was quite clever with the play on words. :) If you don't know, my sisters name is Camrin Park. What a fun name. She always says it sounds like a fancy mortuary or something. I couldn't resist. Love you Cam. Anyway, we had a great time with the whole family. It always seems like Brandon and Tim wander off doing something and my sister and I end up doing something else. I am so glad we get along so well. Brandon has been fixing up his boat for this summer and it is awesome! So that is were Tim and Brandon went while Cam and I pulled out our cameras. I wish we could get together more often because I LOVE it!! We stayed the night after a fantastic dinner of authentic tacos, woke up early in the morning and went to yard sales. I found four shelves and two picture frames but Cam found the neatest treasure of all...Roller skates!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She cracks me up because she put them on right after she bought them. She is going to go rollerskating while pushing her stroller, what a woman! She is so much fun. Hopefully we will get to see them soon because we already miss them.

Great Finish to CRAZY Weekend!!

It was a very busy and CRAZY weekend, but I must say a very good weekend. It started off Saturday morning bright and eary with me going to our neighborhood yard sale where I found some pretty good tresures. Then while Tim did Science experiments with mice I worked on my talk for Sacrament meeting some. We then attended a baptism in our ward, which Tim spoke for. That evening we were lucky enough to have Brady come to visit. I then stayed up late into the night finishing my talk.Sunday morning I was getting ready for church and Tim was finishing up writting his talk, I receved a phone call 45 min before church started asking if I could sub for Sunday School. So off we went to church lucky enough to make it 10 minutes before 9:00 a.m. (a great accomplishment considering our crazy morning) and then gave our talks on the Holy Ghost(me) and Baptism (Tim). The Sunday school lesson went alright considering the situation but I was relieve to have it all over with. Thank goodness Brady came to stay because he was a great help with Emery. And now to the great finish. Sunday was also Bretts (Tim's older brother) birthday and his wife planned him a surprise BBQ party in the park (can't complain there!). So off we went to St. George to celebrate. Being with family and friends is one of my favorite places to be. Being outside having a BBQ is another of my favorite places to be. Put those two together and you have got a FANTASTIC event!!!! So of course I took tons of pictures, as seen through out this page. It was fun getting Emery and Sadie (cousins) together again. This was the first time they were able to play together because they were both healthy. It was cute. As you see in the picture, when I put them down together they just stared at each other for a while. They must have been excited to see each other. Thanks Jennie for planning such a fun party.

Look at her go.....

Emery finally got brave enough (after 3 months) to let go of our finger and walk on her own. She loves being able to go anywhere she wants to go. I have to admit that it is pretty cute. I am finding things that she really enjoys, because she will walk to them now. For example, last night she kept walking, almost running to the front door and hitting her hand on the crack where it opens. She has figured out that is where you go if you want to go outside, and she LOVES it outside. She also almost always walks to the kitchen if she can, that is where she eats! :) I am loving watching her be so independent. These babies just grow up before your eyes. I better not blink because I don't want to miss a thing.

Two pigtails!

Can you believe that Emery is going to turn one this month! I was just thinking this morning that a year ago I was huge (pregnant) and was teaching kindergarten. That seems like it was a different time and life to me now. My life has changed so much sense then. Now I am a stay at home mom and I watch other babies, a lot more work than I ever imagined. I am living my dream by being a stay at home mom. Yesterday I put two pigtails in Emerys hair for the first time. I had to take a picture. The other is Emery playing with her friend Brigam (the boy I watch). Emery has so many friends, what a lucky girl.

Bag Tag

My sis "Bag Tagged" me. Here are the rules:
1. Show your bag
2. Show ALL of the contents of your bag... NO cleaning it out first!

What great timing sis. I just bought a new bag like two days before you tagged me. This is a good oppor tunity for me to show it off, despite the fact that it wasn't very organized :{ I just threw everything in because we had church at 9:00 a.m. and I just bought it the night before. So here it is; diaper, wet wipes, Joseph Smith book (Sunday), flash drive, phone (thanks Brett and Jennie), TOYS...., Sportsmans gift card, wallet and shoes.

I now tag Jennie, Casie, Tina and anyone else who feels like it.
