Emery just turned one!!! Can you tell she is happy about that in the picture? :) We had a fantastic day. Tim and I blew up a whole bunch of balloons the night before her birthday, so she would wake up to a room full of them. She LOVED it. She ran in the room and kept saying, "ball, ball, ball." That eventually turned into, "Weeeee" and she ran through them. When she was tired out with the balloons she opened her presents from Tim and I. She got a baby and a baby stroller, car seat, high chair bouncer .... set. It was fun once again to watch her
with her baby. My favorite is when she gives her baby a binkie and makes sucking noises. SOOOO CUTE!!! Then that evening we had her birthday party and invited our friends. We had macaroni and peas (Emery's all time favorite) for dinner. And had cake and ice-cream for dessert. Tim made the adorable Turtle cake, he is so talented. Then she opened some presents from friends. We had a great day and are excited that Emery is now one. My how the time flies!

Sunday morning I was getting ready for church and Tim was finishing up writting his talk, I receved a phone call 45 min before church started asking if I could sub for Sunday School. So off we went to church lucky enough to make it 10 minutes before 9:00 a.m. (a great accomplishment considering our crazy morning) and then gave our talks on the Holy Ghost(me) and Baptism (Tim). The Sunday school lesson went alright considering the situation but I was relieve to have it all over with. Thank goodness Brady came to stay because he was a great help with Emery.
And now to the great finish. Sunday was also Bretts (Tim's older brother) birthday and his wife planned him a surprise BBQ party in the park (can't complain there!). So off we went to St. George to celebrate. Being with family and friends is one of my favorite places to be. Being outside having a BBQ is another of my favorite places to be. Put those two together and you have got a FANTASTIC event!!!! So of course I took tons of pictures, as seen through out this page. It was fun getting Emery and Sadie (cousins) together again. This was the first time they were able to play together because they were both healthy. It was cute. As you see in the picture, when I put them down together they just stared at each other for a while. They must have been excited to see each other. Thanks Jennie for planning such a fun party.
