Playing Catch Up Again!

We have had a VERY BUSY yet great month. Here is what has been going on in our world.
Tim got a job at a Pharmacy working as an intern. This is really going to help out with his schooling as well as having a little bit of an income now. Working in a Pharmacy is said to be just as good as if not better than studying. The pharmacy he is working at is a compounding Pharmacy and it closes at 6:00 on the weekdays, 2:30 on Saturdays and is closed Sundays. That makes is so nice for us because most Pharmacies close at 9:00. This way he will be able to have dinner with us every night and have his evenings with us. We feel like we were VERY blessed to receive this job!
I have been busy with my kids, household and Primary. I have LOVED being in the Primary even more that I thought I would. It has been very stressful but I LOVE the kids and all that I am learning. On Thursday we had a Primary Activity. The kids made cardboard cars and we had a "drive-in" movie with popcorn and treats. I made four cars during the week (just to have as extras) and Emery and Kaven were able to go. It turned out great and the kids were so cute.

Emery has decided that she is now old enough to use the potty chair (About 2 months ago actually). I decided not to push that matter and let her decide when it was time and I am SO GLAD I did. I left it all up to her. She decided when she wanted to wear a diaper or undies. Any time she is in her undies she never has accidents. Now she only wears diapers for sleeping at night or if we go somewhere for a long time. I can't believe how she is growing up so fast. I am very proud of her. (This picture was actually taken a while ago. Her potty chart is now so full that she has stickers filling the whole page and stickers on top of stickers.)

On March third Kaven took his first steps and has been loving practicing every chance he gets. We counted 9 steps at one time. He loves to hold my hand and walk next to me now too. My baby is turning into a toddler I guess. AHHHH where has the time gone!!!! He will be one in less than a month!!!
(He can do lots better now but you get the idea) Life is sweet here at the Johnson house. We have so much to be grateful for!

Here's to 5 Years

Yes, Tim and I have been married for 5 years now (on March 12th) if you can believe it. I think more has happened in these last five years than any other time of my life. There have been ups and downs, trials and GRAND times. Through it all, I can not say that I would wish for it to be any other way. Overall I can say that we have been extremely blessed beyond what we even see and I have loved every minute with him.
Here are some things we have happened.
Lived in 6 different homes.
A broken foot (result of doing the laundry)
6 different jobs (between the two of us)
Decided on three different careers for Tim: Engineer, Dentist, and Pharmacy (and undecided for awhile).
Dallas actually used her degree for a year teaching Kindergarten. But I am now doing my life long goal of being a stay at home mother (Hooray).
Made some life long friends
Had two wonderful children
Got my tonsils out (one of the best things I have EVER done!)
Went through Pharmacy school application process
Got into our first choice pharmacy school (I know pat ourselves on the back, but it was A LOT of work!!)
Have watched a lot of movies (something we all love to do together)
Both received our Bachelor Degrees
Laughed a lot
Cried a little (almost all me)
Celebrated a lot of Holidays
Have had three different cars (only have one now)
And much much more!

We had a pretty fun Anniversary. Tim had just got a job at a Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Intern and they were having a work party at the Lion House. So we double dipped on that one. Lucky for us we went to a lot nicer place than we could afford for our Anniversary and did not have to pay for a thing. There is another one of those blessing I mentioned earlier. The Lion House was amazing and we had a great time. It was the first time we left Kaven with a babysitter (other than grandparents) Great Times!

A Well Needed....

Get Away!!!!
Tim and I love it here in Salt Lake but being here in the city just reinforces us all the more that we want to end up in a small town!!!!!! As soon as we drive out of the city limits and into the open landscape we both seem to take a big breath and relax! Gratefully Casey (my niece) getting baptized was a great reason for us to go. She was so darling and I didn't even get any pictures of how cute she looked on her special day (forgot to take the camera)! Not only is she So Cute but she is one of the nicest sweetest girls I have ever met! I am just glad my kids have such good cousins to look up to (all their cousins)! But here are a few EXCELLENT reasons why small town are AWESOME...........
You can go out your back door and ride a pony,

Chickens wander around your yard making excellent pets on top of providing you fresh eggs.

Target practice can be done in the field behind your house.

Grandmas are drawn to small towns too.
Ponies and buggies can be driven down the main street of town.

There is always a good seat to be found (even if it is an old tin can). :)
