WOW! My Baby boy is 2 years old. I can hardly believe it. He is about the same age as Emery was when we moved here to SLC and started Pharmacy school. The time has just flown by! We had a VERY fun and VERY busy day for his birthday this year.
It started off with opening his new bike and an Easter Carnival in the big Grass field by our house, where the kids had a very rewarding Easter Egg hunt. 
Soon to follow was a trip to the store for last minute birthday party items then Nap Time/Making a cake for 4-5 hours. 
Then finally the big party. We really were going to keep it simple this time but I think Tim and I just like to celebrate things too much.
We ended up inviting everyone we possible could in our ward/court and told them to spread the word. The BBQ Birthday party was a huge success and so much fun.
Kaven was SO HAPPY and smiling all day, especially at his party.He defiantly knew that it was his special day. It is hard to hear in the video but after everyone was done singing and clapping he says, "Kavens' Birthday!" It was so neat to watch him run around with that glowing personality and bounce in his step.
This boy is SO SPECIAL to me. He is so aware of his surroundings and very sweet with the things he tells me while hugging me. My favorite is every night as I lay him down, he smiles up at me and says, "Nigh, Nigh I Love you Mommy." The perfect ending to everyday. Man, I love being a mom.
