Pharmacy School GRADUATION!!!

May 2, 2013
WE DID IT!!!
With such great support! A few of those people left to right;
Elcee, Brady, Emery, Paula, Tim, Kaven, Dallas and Alan
What an amazing ride it has been...... 9 years of school, 8 yrs of marriage, Dallas getting her bachelors degree in Elementary Ed from SUU then teaching kindergarten for a year, Tim getting his Bachelors degree from SUU, Lots of moves, 7 (combined) different jobs, 3 cars,  great friends/family and 3 AMAZING kids! So proud of Tim and I for sticking with it, even when it got extra hard! They were told to give the red scarf around their necks to the person that got them through school, which represented a graduation for that person as well. Most of these students were giving them to parents that might have paid or helped pay their way through school. I was honored when Tim gave it to me. We were able to figure out a way to make it happen with some loans, our own hard work and lots and lots of faith.  There is nothing greater than working on a goal and a great purpose with the one you love and experiencing it come to pass. We feel this is an accomplishment for us both and we were there for each other every step of the way. I do not think it could happen without the love and support of both our parents but mostly our Heavenly parents. We always knew that if things got too hard then they would always be there for us. Their examples, dedication and love is something that money can not buy!
We are SO BLESSED to have such great parents!
Tim's Mom and Dad (Paula and Alan).
*Real life moment: I was in the hall with this little one for a lot of the ceremony (which is why I didn't get pictures of the actual ceremony). She just learned to walk and could not sit still for a second longer. I couldn't be happier continuing to do what it takes to keep this family going on my end, while Tim received his Dr.of Pharmacy degree to support our family on his end. Such a perfect example of the teamwork it takes to reach our dreams.
One of the only pictures I got because they were leaving the room, coming towards Elcee and I in the hall. Thank goodness the room was open to the hall, so I could hear everything going on. I love that Tims eyes are on us, so proud!
So handsome!
A forever Utes fan!

And on to more exciting adventures!

Last Month in the Village

April 2013

Wow! Big shoes to fill.
Trying on the graduation get-up.

Last bits of homework before we move. Emery actually left kindergarten with a few weeks left of school.
She is such a smarty that I wasn't worried about her being behind in 1st grade. Lucky girl!

Some of us are happy with swings
and slides

And some of us are content with baskets and favorite blankets.

End of Year Kindergarten Programs

Emery sitting in front of her school and Kindergarten playground/classroom.

Groups of kids worked on each section of the mural and then put it together.
Emery's Milk Jug Flamingo creation

Such an artist!

Emery is standing next to her favorite friend, Eric. He is in the blue shirt.

I found a journal entry of Erics' that said, "Emery is so beautiful"
Complete with crayon drawn picture of her. So cute!

Good-bye Kindergarten!

Emery Turns 6

Instead of giving crayons while we waited for our meal, they gave us these fun bendy wax like sticks. So Fun!
Not only did Emery turn six but it has been over six years sense I have posted something on our blog. Wow they are not a kidding when they say time flies! I am trying to print our blog into some books as a surprise for Christmas and realized if I added a few more posts, then I could complete our collage experience.  It would finish off the books quite nicely.  So here we go....
This was April 29th 2013. Our Emery girl turned 6 years old and we had a HUGE celebration (for poor collage kids standard). We figured it could be a birthday party for Emery and a goodbye party before we left the village and all the friends and neighbors we have come to love so dearly.
It started out with going to an "eating store" (as Emery calls them) for breakfast. Eating out was one of her favorite things to do. We had a BBQ with friends for dinner and opened her present right before bed.... a bunk bed for our new house in Wyoming.
Woke up to a giant present in the hall.

What better way to celebrate than with dear friends!

Our apartment was the bottom corner, (in front of the red fence). We LOVED being in the 700 court!

Bunk beds for all three kids birthdays (Emery also got some money to spend as she wished).

We LOVE YOU Emery girl! Always, Forever, No Matter What!

Discovery Park with Friends the Losees

Nykel, Emery, Bracken, Elcee and Kaven

Nykel, Kaven, Bracken and Emery on the tire swing.

Andy and Tim on an unexpected swing. We played on this swing for quite awhile.  The swings are connected and so it will launch one of the people in the air and it is pretty scary.  Tim and I were not expecting it when we got on the swings together and I went flying, which made me scream with laughter.

Elcee trying out the tire swing on her own.

Dallas and Elcee on the "Mom" swing.

Kaven and Elcee sharing the swing

The next thing we knew, Elcee had fallen asleep on Kavens lap.  It was pretty cute.

He wanted to go bowling for his birthday, which I thought was a fantastic idea.

He woke up to presents and a decorated house.

His new car stations

Elcee likes Kavens birthday too.

We got this idea from his cousin Taces birthday.  He really wanted to do this for his birthday too.

Birthday Cake, of course it had to be super heros like his favorite PJs

Happy Birthday Elcee

My sweet little Elcee girl is 1 years old.
Elcee LOVES cutie oranges, so I made her a cake to look like one.
Aunt Erin was at her Party too.  It was so fun to have her there.
We are so lucky to have such good friends.  This is Elcee receiving her first birthday present from her friend Jack Lee with the help of his mom Megan Lee (We LOVE the Lees).
Who doesn't love animal plates for their birthday.
This little girl has been taking steps for the last few months but still preferred to crawl.  Three days after this her grandpa Alan was walking her around a shoe store and all of the sudden she had enough confidence to start walking everywhere and she never turned back.  Thanks Grandpa Alan!

Happy Birthday to You....

Emery, Karenza and Tyla made up a fun song and dance for Elcee.

Blow out you candle.

Time to open presents

What is this?

A baby... her favorite... hugs all around!

Just the reaction I was hoping for.

More presents from Aunt Erin

Great friends to celebrate with!

And whats a party without balloons.

Sure LOVE this little girl!

Now time to play...

Here she is 3 days later walking around the shoe store, after grandpa Alan helped her with her confidence (It was uncle Brett's birthday we were celebrating on that day).
