Another Great 4th!

We had an excellent 4th of July this year. Emery LOVED everything about it. I thought she would be scared of the loud trucks, sirens, and fireworks but she proved me wrong. She had a blast (no pun intended:) At the parade she was more interested in the floats than the candy. Kaven was just content is sit in his car seat and watch as well.

To my surprise I think both my kids loved the fireworks the most of all. Emery just kept saying, "Ohhh, WOW, Ahh" and naming the colors she saw. Kaven would watch intently while they were going and fuss when they weren't. Brett and Brady almost had them going fast enough for him by the end.

We had such a great Holiday. We had three families in transition there this year, of course my family (on our way to Salt Lake), Brett and Jennie (on their way to Parker), and Scott and Chevy (on their way to Arizona). It was fun sharing in the excitement with these guys. So good to see everyone!

Last Trip for awhile....

...because we are moving to Salt Lake City in about a week!!! We got into the housing that we wanted and were on the waiting list for. It is perfect timing because we will have about a month and a half to settle in and get to know the area ect. before Tim starts school. It has been very nice staying in Delta these last two months (kind of vacation like) but it will be great to have our own place again. So as the title mentioned we went to Logandale before we got even farther away. It was the greatest trip. I loved spending so much time with my mom and playing games every night with Erin and my parents. We also got to see our brand new addition to the family, Duncan Park (Cami and Brandons baby), born last week Emery LOVED playing with Dantzel. They stayed up way to late playing and jumping on the bed giggling. It was fun watching James hold Kaven. We even got to see Andy and Jenny on Monday for a work thing Andy and to do in Logadale. What a fabulous time we had, just a little sad to drive away when the time came. All I can say is I am grateful we got into the "U" and not to Virginia for Pharmacy school. I don't know if I could have handled being that far away. But it would have been and awesome experience. All we have left is the 4th of July Celebration and Kaven's baby blessing and we are off to Pharmacy school at the U of U. Salt Lake City here we come.

Fathers Day

I just wanted to shout out about how much I love my husband. He is the greatest Dad and Husband ever! Not only does he work so hard for us and is getting a difficult education for us, but he helps out so much at home. I feel that we have stretched and grown so much together in the short time we have been married. It is great going through difficult and good times together. It makes me excited for the future too. Having/raising children has been the best thing we have ever and ever will do. Not always the easiest but the most rewarding. Thanks Tim for the grand father you are and for sharing this journey with me. I wouldn't want to do it with anyone else!

NEW CAMERA!!! so Random Pictures

Man it is crazy to think that I have two kids now. But I sure love them. It is the greatest thing in the world being a parent!

Tim thinks so too.

One thing that we do almost everyday here in Delta is walk around the track with Tim's mom and some ladies in her ward. Emery is our little track star. She walks, runs, gallops, jumps and even tries to skip as we walk. All the ladies get a kick out of her. They say she walks with attitude and I agree. She swings her little arms (elbows bent, up against her sides) while swaying her hips as she walks. It is pretty cute.

Kaven is growing so fast. We had to buy another camera because our other one was ruined by a leaky sippy cup and he is changing so much right now and I would hate not capturing it in photos. He loves his baths and is just the sweetest thing ever!

Jennie stopped by last Thursday with her kids on the way home from Salt Lake. So of course I had to get a picture of the kids too. It is SO FUN having them the same ages. Cousins are the GREATEST! Hopefully we will still see them with us all moving to Medical and Pharmacy schools. Our kids sure love each other!
Last picture I promise. The other day we received the greatest package in the mail from Scott and Siobhan (Tim's cousin). They are in Japan right now so the package was full of all kinds and goodies and treats from there and a darling outfit for Kaven. Trying treats from other countries is one of my favorite things! It could be one of my biggest motivating factors to travel. So I personally was thrilled with that. The outfit was so cool. It actually fit Emery so we had her try it on. She did not want to take it off. I guess they are just going to have to share it. :) Thanks SO MUCH Scott and Chevy, we all LOVED it! We are excited to see you guys soon!

Summer Games

Two weekends ago Tim played 3 on 3 Soccer in the summer Games. We were able to go back to Cedar City and stay with some of our best friends Andy and Jenny. It was so much fun watching their games in the windy weather, and visiting our old stomping grounds. Thanks Andy and Jenny for having us in your home, it was tons of fun!

SMILE

Thanks to grandma Paula, I was able to borrow her camera to take some pictures. Kaven has been smiling for about a week or two. It is so fun to have him coo and smile at us now, and he is full of them! All you do is talk to him and he coos and smiles back. So cute. Anyway, we have been having a great time in Delta. Emery loves following grandma Paula around everywhere. She also loves to get in the little pool almost everyday. It is hard to get a good picture of her though. I am doing great. I am almost all healed up from my tonsillectomy, and having a baby. I feel like a new person! It is wonderful! Tim has been VERY busy with odd jobs around Delta from doing peoples yard work, to assembling bikes and trampolines at Alco. Today he is in Salt Lake with a neighbor redoing carpet and tile in their new condo. It is so nice having a little bit of income come in before we are off to Pharmacy School. He is such a hard worker. But he knows how to relax when the jobs are done, and I love that about him! We have enjoyed watching Tim's parents library of movies, visiting Grandma Dora (Bringhurst) and going on lots of walks. Life is so good and we just feel so blessed!
