I planned a Family Reunion themed around the Summer Olympics this year and I think it turned out pretty well.  Most importantly, we were able to get together with almost everyone in my family.  We had all kind of events from things pictured here to ping-pong tournaments, target shooting and more.  We started it off with an opening ceremony where Casey shared a story of one of our Ancestors and ended the games with a closing ceremony where the kids acted out a skit about that person we learned about during the reunion.  We kept score and even had prizes which ended up being kind of dramatic, yet it all worked out in the end.  Thank you so much to my family for all the yummy food, the traveling and your help in preparing for this reunion.  I sure love my family and wish we could get together more often.

In May......

Emery and Kaven went to a birthday party together.

Elcee LOVED taking baths

Elcee went to church for the first time (Emery wore this dress to church for her first time too).

We competed in the Village Olympics and took 2nd place.

Emery finished Preschool

Emery said good-bye to her teachers.  Pictured here Amanda (Emery's favorite), Emery and Sarah.

The kids had the idea to make me flowers for mothers day with a stick as a stem and Tim helped them.

We left to Annabella for 3 months in this car with every single seat occupied.

Tim stuffed our car as full as it could be.

This is what my AMAZING husband could fit in our car, not to mention 5 people with three of them in car seats.

The kids had fun getting to know each other some more.

Elcee met Kamri

Emery colored with Nykel

Kaven played super hero with Braken
We went on a Lizard hunt with the Losees and Williams family

Elcee met Grandma Dora for the first time.

Emery started thinking about Kindergarten starting in 3 months while visiting a museum in Delta.

Emery and Kaven enjoyed the museum with Grandma Paula

Tracy Aviary

Through Emerys preschool we were able to take a trip to Tracy Aviary for FREE!!  We have been so lucky to be able to hit so many things in Salt Lake City while we have lived here, either for free or a super good deal.  Elcee was only 3 weeks old which made it a little tricky but how can you pass up free.
I had a terrifying experience of a wild, crazy duck attacking me from the sky.  I was minding my own business, looking at some birds, when all of the sudden a duck swoops down from the sky, flips out on my shoulder then lands in a bunch of thick grass for cover.  Pretty soon I smell the most horrible smell I have ever smelt in my life and asked Tim if he could smell it too.  He agreed so me moved on to get away from the smell.  BUT the smell kept following us.  Eventually Tim points out that I have bird poop all over me and Elcees blanket where her head was(I had Elcee strapped to me, as shown in the picture).  I don't know how, but it ran all the way down between me, Elcee and the Snuggly.  So we were pretty stinky the whole time.  I guess it was good for a story though.  Not many people can say that they have been pooped on from a duck FROM THE SKY!!!
Other than that the trip was really fun.  I love doing stuff like this with my little family!

This bird was so fun with the kids.  It kept following their faces around face to face from the cage.  My kids thought it was pretty funny.

The kids following Tim jumping from stone to stone.

This is the Utes mascot, so I had to get a picture with Tim saying GO UTES!

Where Have We Been?

This Summer has been different and adventurous once again.  In the middle of May we moved to Annabella Utah (a small town near Richfield) so that Tim could complete two more of his Pharmacy Rotations.  He started out in Bicknell for 6 weeks and is now in Salina for 6 weeks.  We will be done in 2 weeks and then return to Salt Lake City to finish 5 more rotations.  The best part is that we moved across the street from my sisters family.  My kids have LOVED playing with their cousins everyday...
Casey, Emery, Heston, Whit and Kaven waiting at the movie theater for a movie to start.

Kaven, Whit, Emery, Heston and Casey hanging out at the old farm house we are staying in.  These 5 have spent the most time together this summer and I have loved every minute of it! You can see how much fun they have together.

This is just to mention a few things.  There will be more to come soon.
