Hoogle Zoo with the Losees

Emery, Kaven, Bracken, Nykel, Camri, Elcee all waiting to enter the zoo.

This polar bear was SO COOL.  He was swimming around everywhere and then was doing back flips on this ledge right where we were watching over and over again.

As mentioned in a previous post, our good friends Andy and Jenny Losees and sometimes their whole family have been able to come see us every month because Andy kept on winning Jazz tickets for work.  He was able to win the tickets for April too and they brought their whole family this time.  We decided to do something super fun before we move and decided we wanted to go to the Hoogle Zoo.  This was such a good choice because we all LOVED it!  So here are some pictures from our visit. My camera battery died so I only got a few pictures from the beginning of our trip.  One of my favorite things was watching Elcee watch the monkeys.  She LOVED them and even said Monkey a few times.  Pretty cute.

March

We were so lucky to have our good friends Andy and Jenny come see us every month because Andy kept on winning Jazz tickets at work.  Elcee thinks this is pretty "cool" too.
Kaven still loves his Strider Bike and can do some pretty cool tricks on it.

Elcee started taking her first steps at 10 months.  This video was taken March 1st.
This is what we would see on our walk home from church.

Every day that the weather is good enough, we would spent all the time we could outside playing with friends and mom talking with friends.

Emery made these with her friend Nykel.  They colored them from a coloring book and then cut them out.  Pretty cute.

Kaven in his all time favorite Pajamas.  He wants to wear them all day and all night.  It is tricky trying to sneak them to the washer.

I LOVE that my kids love to play together.

This was an easter party from the Village.

At the end of the Easter Village party we were able to get these free Go Utes shirts.  We were lucky enough to have my sister Camrins kids with us.

Cousins watching Wreck-it-Ralph after Traces birthday at the park.  Lexi, Kaven, Sadie, Elcee, Emery, Trace, Aidan.

Elcee and Brea playing together.
Emery decided to cut the front of her hair one night because it had a tangle in it.  I figured the best way to cover it us would be to give her bangs.

February

Emery worked on making Valentines for her Kindergarten class.  We made star shaped crayons from broken crayons and attached them to a cute card.

Tim made a cool scavenger hunt for the kids

They thought that was super fun.

Emery celebrated 100 days at school so I did her hair in the shape of 100. Kaven, Benjamin and Cindy (Alldrege) are in this picture with her.

For Valentines Day Emerys teacher asked them to make and bring their own boxes to receive Valentines from their friends.  This is what she came up with (with some help from Mom).  It was her design though.

Elcee is still getting around, spreading joy.

Tim turned 30 this year and I threw him a surprise birthday party with this theme. I told him that I was helping a friend throw a surprise birthday party for her husband and asked if he would show up at a certain time with Elcee when the party started. When he walked in he looked around really confused and then he saw this....
Everyone in Tim's family came to help celebrate his birthday.  He got REALLY Red in the face when he realized it was for him.  Success, I have never been able to surprise him before and I got him good this time.  We had a picnic and there were all kinds of "Shooting" Game for everyone to enjoy.  It was great to have the family support.  I am so glad everyone made the effort to come.

Grandma Paula enjoying the festivities with Lexi and Elcee.

Emery had crazy hair day at school and she asked me to do her hair like Cindy Loo Who.  I think it turned out pretty crazy and she got A LOT of attention that day at school!

Elcee LOVES babies and is so sweet with her little baby dolls.

It is always so fun to see what the kids are coming up with next.  They are so imaginative.  I found them pulling Elcee all over in this basket with a string.  Elcee of course thought it was AWESOME!

January

Emery and Kaven like to pull the Kitchen chairs out and say they are doing their exercises.

Kaven must have been exhausted after playing outside.

Elcee is loving being able to eat the same food as us.

Cool Dude

Making flarp with the kids.  They LOVED this.

Elcee is starting to get around.

Queen Emery and Kind Kaven

Going on a Date to the cheesecake factory with our good friends Andy and Jenny.  Elcee was lucky enough to come along.

This is what a normal time can look like at our house.  Dad surfing the web and the kids watching or Dad showing the kid YouTube videos of things the are interested in.

Elcee is still getting around and loving it.

In January I always seem to get picture of everyday things like shopping for food.

Building a snow fort

Climbing up on things

Elcee is so thrilled that she can pull herself up onto things now.

This is what a see a lot of the time now.  Everywhere I go I have a baby following me around or at my feet. SO CUTE!
