LAGOON

On Monday we spent the whole day at Lagoon with Andy and Jenny and NO KIDS! It was so much fun and a really nice break. Thanks SO MUCH to Tim's mom and brothers who spent the day with our kids. I had so much fun that I made myself sick! Maybe I went on a few too many roller coaster rides. By the time we were done we went to Olive Garden for dinner and I couldn't even eat anything because my head hurt so bad that it made me nauseous. I just have to say that it was WAY worth it though. Here are are few pictures. I wish I would have taken more, but was too busy having fun.

We got some really yummy ice-cream and the store was like an old school Pharmacy. So of course I had to get a picture with Tim in it.

Birthday Boy

My baby boy is now one! We had a super fun party for him. His uncle Brady, Andy and Jennys family and Johan and Shannons family were able to come. It was almost like old times when we lived in Cedar City with just a few friends missing. We had finger foods for dinner (pizza, bread sticks and veggie tray) then a dog cake with puppies and ice-cream for dessert. Kaven LOVES dogs so we figured it was fitting for his birthday cake.
It was a BEAUTIFUL day. It was almost like the blossoms on the trees were just waiting for his special day. The day stared out with no blossoms and throughout the party they started blossoming right before our eyes. By the end of the day the trees were full of them!



He was SO HAPPY all day long. He must have known it was his birthday. Here are some more pictures of his special day.

After the party we went to Trolley Square with Brady.

It was a day full of memories, new beginnings, and lots of happiness. This little boy has brought move love and joy into this home than I ever thought was possible. We love you SO MUCH little Kaven boy. Happy Happy Birthday!

Baby Zuri

There is a new baby Elephant at the zoo. Her name is Zuri and she is ADORABLE! We sat and watched her most of the time we were there and I could have watched her longer. She is all over the place, wants to touch and experience EVERYTHING! She was even sitting on big balls and stuff.
Emery had even more fun at the zoo this time. Right when we got there she and Hannah had their maps and she was doing her 'I'm so cool' swagger walk. Or 'I own this place' walk. I think it is because she had just been there before and she knew what to expect this time.
We had so much fun again. Thanks for taking us Shannon!

TINA'S HERE!!!

Hip Hip Hooray! Tina is in Utah right now and we were lucky enough to see her and Nathan! We had so much fun with them and the Leeflangs. It was SO GOOD to get back together again even though we missed some of our other friends that we lived in Cedar City with. We loved it in Cedar City and made great friends that will last a life time.
We had Homemade Costa Vida for dinner and Worms and Dirt for dessert. The kids sure thought it was crazy! Nathan had a hard time dipping in and eating until he found the worms and Emery went to town eating it until she found a gummy worm and then was DONE!

Great Friends!

I have been wanting to do this post for awhile now, but we have been so busy with other events this summer that I haven't had room to blog it in. Now we have had a slower time and I thought this would be a great time, especially because some of our best friends are moving on Thursday. These pictures were taken at the beginning of the summer when some of us went to the park for a picnic and fun. We feel so blessed, pictured are just of few are the great friends we have made since we have moved to Sunset Ridge. These people have changed my life and made me a much greater person and I just want to say thank you!

It's Warming Up!!!

For the last three days the weather has been wonderful! This has been the first winter in my life where I have had cabin fever. I think it is because I am not getting out of the house everyday by going to school or working. So I have felt pretty cooped up. It has been so nice lately that we have been going on walks every day. I think Emery feels the same as me because she loves going on walks too. We both love being outside.
I guess our friends feel the same way too because we all ended up going on a walk together. Some people were giving us some pretty wierd looks as they drove by. We were like a stoller train. Reminds me of when you see all those Harleys driving by. :) I also had to throw in a picture of our beautiful landscape in our backyard and neighborhood. I love Cedar City. I think it is so beautiful here! Hooray for Spring. We are ready for you!
